Ingatestone Hall

Ingatestone Hall is a 16th century manor house, built by Sir William Petre, Secretary of State to four Tudor monarchs, and still occupied by his descendants. Come and see furniture, pictures, and memorabilia that have been accumulated over the centuries, and also two priests’ hiding places. In addition to our normal opening times, guided tours are available for pre-booked groups at morning, afternoon or evening. The Hall is also available for hire, as a whole or in part, for plays, concerts, receptions, weddings, exhibitions or any other event.
